Pricing
Here you’ll find a breakdown of every fee you may come across when you place an order through OSH Assembly. These fees are subject to change, however fees will be kept intentionally relatively low (relative to standard contract manufacturing services) to help make high quality assembly services available to as many people as possible.
- Job fee - A fixed cost per job. This fee exists to help cover shipping and other costs.
- SMT fees
- KiCAD Standard Footprint Library footprints (Anything outside falls into custom category) - Fixed cost per part
- Resistors
- Capacitors
- Basic Inductors
- Basic Ferrite Beads
- Basic LEDs
- Custom or non-standard footprints - Charged per number of pads (ex. Complex QFN-48 ICs with many leads cost more than a 4-pin opto-isolator with few leads)
- Feeder setup
- KiCAD Standard Footprint Library footprints (Anything outside falls into custom category) - Fixed cost per part
- THT fees
- Standard joints - Handsoldered by an industry professional. Fee charged for each joint.
- Add-ons
- Rounded joints - Handsoldered by an industry professional. Fee charged for each specialty joint.
